H1N1 Vaccine (Swine Flu) Now
Available!

Our office is now offering the H1N1 Influenza (Swine Flu) vaccine to
ALL PATIENTS (not just high risk). It is on a first come first serve basis. Please call our office to schedule an appointment (624-9970 ext. 1).
The vaccine is especially recommend for the high risk groups
below, but all children ages 6 months through 18 years of age should be vaccinated.

Please note, all H1N1 vaccines available at this time are
not Thimerosal free. We do have the nasal Flumist for
children 2 years and older.
Who is considered high risk?
Children at higher risk include:

Children ages 6 months through 4 years
-
Children ages 6 months and older with
the following chronic health conditions:

All children with immune suppression
-
Chronic kidney disease
-
Heart disease
-
HIV/AIDS
-
Diabetes
-
Asthma or other problems of the lungs
-
Sickle cell disease
-
Long-term aspirin therapy for chronic disorders
-
Children with any condition that affects respiratory function including neurological conditions such as intellectual and developmental disability, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, seizure disorders, metabolic conditions or other neuromuscular disorders.
