KidsHealth–
Website
created by The Nemours Foundation's Center for Children's
Health Media that provides health information about children
from before birth through adolescence. KidsHealth has
separate areas for kids, teens, and parents, each with its
own design, age-appropriate content, and tone.
Drugs.com – A comprehensive and up-to-date online source
of drug information for more than 24,000 prescription drugs,
over-the-counter medicines and natural products. Visit this
site to learn more about drug indications, side effects, and
interactions with other medications. This site also
provides free access to Stedman’s Medical Dictionary and the A.D.A.M. Medical Encyclopedia.
AAP Parenting Corner – Special parenting section at AAP.org that contains general information related to
child health and specific guidelines on a variety of
pediatric issues.
CDC Health Topics – Section of the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention website with an alphabetical listing
of various pediatric health issues (including child safety
and development, specific infections, antibiotic resistance,
and autism).
National Institute of Child Health and Human Development
(NICHD)
– Division of the National Institutes of Health that
conducts and supports research on all stages of human
development. Visit the site for an extensive list of review
articles on pediatric health and human development topics
and up-to-date clinical research,

containing clinical information regarding pediatric health
questions.
Adults and Children Together Against Violence
(ACT)
– A
violence prevention project that focuses on adults who
raise, care for, and teach children ages 0 to 8 years. It is
designed to prevent violence by providing young children
with positive role models and environments that teach
nonviolent problem-solving. Site contains information on
discipline, managing anger, and resolving conflicts.
Family TLC – Organization aimed to provide busy, caring
adults with a means to encourage learning and enrich
relationships with their children. Visit this site to find
parenting tips and age-appropriate child activities (games,
sports, crafts, music, cooking, nature and more).
Kidnetic.com – Website dedicated to the promotion of
healthy eating and physical activity for kids and their
families. The Kidnetic.com Parents’ Guide provides lots of
ideas and tips to get the whole family involved in making
healthier food choices, managing portion size, and getting
active together. The side includes lots of kid-pleasing
recipes, including a category of "Family-Friendly" recipes
that you and your kids can make together.
